Earlier this year, Port Metro Vancouver received building permits for their new 110,000sf Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility located in Phase One of Deltaport Logistic Centre.
Things are really beginning to take shape as our TFN/Wales McLelland Joint Venture tilted up the first walls of the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility at the end of May. Project completion is scheduled for January 2018.
In addition to building construction, our Joint Venture with TFN Construction/Matcon Civil completed the site filling and preparation for the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility project and will soon start construction of the on-site sanitary pump station. Construction on that component of the project is expected to start in June.
Members employed through TFN/Wales McLelland Joint Venture, and TFN’s other Joint Ventures with Matcon Civil and GardaWorld Security, offer employment opportunities for TFN Members in the areas of:
- Site filling
- Site preparation and servicing
- Building construction
- Security services
- Environmental monitoring
- Invasive species removal
- Landscaping and public infrastructure maintenance.
The Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility project is a prime example of how successful companies in the industrial sector can build with confidence in one the highest demand locations in Canada – Deltaport Logistics Centre.
Together, we are leaning in and working hard to deliver world-class industrial projects, and this is just the beginning.
