Tsawwassen First Nation, through its TFN Economic Development Corporation, is bringing lands to the market for residential, commercial and industrial uses to support growth and economic development that will benefit the TFN community.
Deltaport Logistics Centre is TFN’s newest addition to its portfolio, offering long-term leasehold land for the development of world class logistics facilities for companies utilising Canada’s largest western port and the entrance to Canada’ Pacific Gateway project.
Totalling 300 acres of zoned and serviced land, Phase One is fully leased to leaders in the logistics services sector, including:
- Delta iPort (57.4 acres/planned 1,300,000 sq. ft. logistics facility),
- Port of Vancouver (11.4 acres/planned 110,000 sq. ft. container examination facility),
- EuroAsia Transload (23.5 acres/planned 300,000 sq. ft. warehouse building).
Construction of these facilities is scheduled to start within the next few months which will provide actual building square footage and vacancy levels once complete.
However, one project is already complete; Chevron’s diesel cardlock facility (1.5 acres) is up and operating already, offering convenient fuelling services for our future tenants.

TFN Chief Bryce was also very pleased to welcome Chevron to the Deltaport Logistics Centre.
“This is a remarkable day for our Deltaport Logistics Centre; this is the first of our partner’s facilities that we have been able to open on our Lands. Chevron has been an important part of the team that has worked with us to develop on Tsawwassen Lands. They saw the opportunity to build a cardlock facility that would take advantage of the truck traffic that our lands, and surrounding industrial activities, would be attracting. Their commitment to working with us to open this facility has been tremendous, and I wish to thank them for realizing that opportunity.”
We also have another 10 acres set aside for TFN’s municipal works yard and sewage treatment facility, and a boat storage area for Bass Pro which is a major tenant in our retail facility.
Phase Two of Deltaport Logistics Centre (approx. 200acres) has recently been released to the market, is available for long-term lease, and can be subdivided to suit specific requirements.
Our new website www.deltaportlogisticscentre.com provides information about Deltaport Logistics Centre including information regarding our infrastructure, transportation connections, and servicing. It also includes an overview video, describing the area and land leasing opportunity.
We anticipate that the buildout of Deltaport Logistics Centre will accommodate approximately 4.5 million sq. ft. of industrial buildings. TFN is also in the process of opening our Tsawwassen Mills and Tsawwassen Commons retail facility (2 million sq. ft.) and have begun development of over 2,500 residential units in our community.
